Hi everyone! My name is Victoria Brown. I was born and raised on beautiful, Vancouver Island but now reside in the fun, loving city of Vancouver!


I have lived a very active life. Since the day I can remember, I was playing basketball. My whole life revolved around the sport. By the time I graduated high school, I was given the opportunity & scholarship to play at the CIS level (now known as USPORT).

Now, you may be thinking to yourself that because I was an 'active, high level playing athlete', that I LOOKED like all of those things... Well, you're wrong.

​

I have always been overweight. It's something I've struggled with my whole life. In high school, I would go to the extremes and starve myself each summer so that I'd come back the following year looking 20 pounds lighter. Some days I would eat just 600 calories a day. This absolutely destroyed my metabolism and I was paying the consequences for a very long time. Ever hear of the freshmen 15? Ya well it was a freshmen 30 for me. By the time I moved back home from university, my weight jumped from being 198 to 236. I wish I was kidding.

I was depressed, emotionally eating, partying, etc. I hated basketball, I hated how I looked, I was low and never wanted to go back to school...

​

Until one day I came across 'Kinesiology'... I was intrigued and decided to get back into school and complete the degree while still playing basketball. During this degree I took classes like: Anatomy, Physiology, Exercise Prescription, Injury Prevention, Holistic Nutrition, Advanced Nutrition, etc.

I FINALLY found my passion. The human body and how it works is SO fascinating to me.

After finishing basketball and my degree, I started to spend a lot of time on my personal fitness. I made a lifestyle change where working out/eating well became something I WANTED to do, instead of feeling like something I HAD to do.


The way I started to feel and the changes in my body composition gave me the confidence and drive I needed to KEEP showing up for myself each and everyday. You're only given one body and it is capable of doing amazing things, so why not take care of it?


After hitting a couple road blocks, trying literally EVERY diet in the book, excessively changing my workout routine every week, I FINALLY figured out the formula on how to accomplish your goals and implement everyday habits.


I felt ready and committed to make this something I wanted to turn into a business, and help others through their journey. I know what it's like to be that hamster on the wheel. I want to help guide others to their success and show them that they can literally do ANYTHING they set their mind to.
